What we collect, who processes it, and what we do not track
Schools should not have to guess. Categories, vendors, AI, and analytics are listed here and on the counsel appendix.
Student data categories (school-controlled)
Identity and contact, academics, guardian contacts, applications and resumes, placements and hours, messages, and consent records, only as needed for features the school enables.
Subprocessors
- Google Cloud / Firebase: hosting, authentication, database, storage
- Google AI / Gemini: optional assist when a school or user runs an AI feature
- Resend: transactional email
- Google Analytics 4: optional, signed-out public pages only
Analytics
If a visitor is not signed in and they allow analytics, we may load Google Analytics 4 for aggregate marketing traffic. That is the only GA4 integration. Signed-in staff, students, and business hosts are not sent to Google Analytics.
AI
Student-facing AI is off until the school turns it on. InternPick does not use student data to train its own models. Staff program-copy tools use program and school content, not roster exports.
