1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for preferences, authentication state, and UI settings.
2. Why we use them
- Essential: sign-in sessions (including Firebase Authentication), security tokens, load balancing, and saving cookie preferences.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (when configured) for aggregate public-page views while you are signed out, and only after you allow it. Signed-in product use is not sent to Google Analytics.
- Functional: remembering UI choices, active account context, and development or demo preferences where applicable.
3. Your choices
Essential cookies are always active because the Service will not function without them.
Optional analytics applies only on public pages while you are signed out. After you sign in, InternPick does not load Google Analytics and does not send analytics events.
You can clear cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or reset preferences.

4. Third-party services
Some embedded services (such as maps or authentication providers) may set their own cookies subject to their policies. We encourage reviewing those providers’ notices when you interact with their features.
